The following is our site policy:
ORDERS
AVAILABILITY
Not all books shown on the site are readily available or running under print. There might be titles long out-of-print or totally unavailable. In that case we will email the user canceling the order and refund the entire money.
DELIVERIES/ SHIPPING
All deliveries are subject to availability of the items ordered. TeksonsBooks.Com may take an extra week or so to try and procure items that are either out of stock or already on order. In that case we shall seek permission from the user first and then initiate further action.
TeksonsBooks.Com claims no responsibility for missing, delayed or lost packages. We try our best to ensure that all orders are safely packed and shipped by the best possible courier depot. All orders are sent via an extremely reliable courier service and are traceable over the Internet. Airway Bill Numbers (AWBs) are emailed to users the moment orders are dispatched helping keep track of packages. In case a packet goes missing or does not reach the user on time or arises suspicion of any kind, we request all users to mail us at touch@teksons.com or telephone at (+91-11) 41646395 / 41658420 that very moment.
All orders placed must have Pin/Zip Codes to ensure smooth and safe deliveries. Orders with incomplete address information may be cancelled or rejected by the shipper. In such a case, users will be informed via email and will be requested to mail the complete shipping address.
International orders will be sent via DHL and may take 4-5 working days to get delivered. If the user wishes to use an inexpensive shipping service, we request to be emailed such a demand. In such a case, the extra money charged will be refunded in 7-10 working days.
Orders that are to be shipped within India may take 2-3 working days to get delivered. Orders received from major Indian cities before 1700 hours (05.00 pm) of a working day will be delivered within 24 hours.
Delhi / NCR orders received before 1700 hours (05.00 pm) on a working day will be delivered within 24 hours.
Delivery periods can also depend on the time of authorization taken by the issuing or acquiring bank. All delivery times mentioned are only estimates and are based on working days. Delays can sometime occur. The user will receive an email as soon as the order is dispatched.
There might be far-out areas wherein delivery via first class courier isn't a possibility. In such an event, orders are sent either via regular book-post or registered post. We shall first put such a matter across to the customer and then post the order. Also, charges for such deliveries may vary and are generally higher than the usual courier costs.
There is a Cash On Delivery (COD) option for orders that are to be delivered within Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Faridabad however there is a minimum purchase value attached to them. COD orders must be of at least Rs. 500 in value and may take 48-72 hours to get delivered.
All orders are sent via first class courier.

CREDIT CARD / PAYMENTS
In credit cards we accept payments by VISA and MasterCard only. Other than credit cards, we also accept payments in the form of cheques, drafts and wire transfers.
If the user wishes to pay via cheque, draft or wire transfer, there is an option on the site and can be made use of while purchasing. For bulk orders/queries we suggest emailing us at touch@teksons.com and we'll revert back within 24 hours with the exact details and particulars of the proposed transaction. Users ordering in bulk may want to look for better shipping deals or rates. In that case the best possible option is to mail or phone us.
TeksonsBooks.Com guarantees SAFE, FUN and EASY shopping at the click of a button. We'd like to disclose that NO credit card information is passed on to us by the concerned banks making our site as safe as possible. Credit card particulars are received directly by the banks involved in the transaction and TeksonsBooks.Com receives only a message confirming & authorizing the transaction.
CYBER WALLET
The cyber wallet feature is like a cash account for registered users on the site and is like using a cash card. Users can set up their wallet by simply filling in a form and by topping their account up with cash. With every purchase that the user makes the site will automatically deduct the purchase amount from the user's account. Apart from paying everytime using credit card or cheques, the added benefit is a 10% flat discount everytime the account is topped up. Such an account is totally transparent and can be checked by the member at leisure. For instance, the user registers and tops up the account with Rs. 1,000 to start with (the site will charge only Rs. 900, as there is a 10% discount everytime the cyber wallet is topped up). The user then makes a purchase worth Rs. 250. The account will then reflect the balance as Rs. 750. The account balance will keep getting lesser with every purchase that is made unless the account is topped up again.
AUTOMATIC PAY-BACK MECHANISM
The site has an automatic pay-back mechanism that pays back excess or entire credit card payments to users over the web itself. This mechanism is used in case of cancelled, un-sourced or unsupplied orders. Such payments take about 7-10 working days to reach the account of the user.
PRICING
All prices shown are in US Dollars and Indian Rupees. Your credit card company may reflect the conversion rate in your home currency.
Prices reflected on the site are valid only when purchasing and may differ from those advertised by other parts or units of Teksons Bookshop. TeksonsBooks.Com makes all efforts to publish the most accurate available data at all times. However there could be several factors beyond the control of TeksonsBooks.Com that may influence change in information. We take no responsibility whatsoever of the under or over pricing of similar books on other websites or by various book sellers or discount stores. Our prices are maximum retail prices (MRPs) set by the publisher/distributor and we do not mark them up under any circumstances. We could offer books on special prices or discounts during a particular season or time of the year. Prices shown on the site attract no extra cess however are exclusive of shipping charges.
TeksonsBooks.Com will deliver at the price the order was confirmed to the user. We will bear the difference in case of a publishing error on the site and if there is any decrease in book price, the extra money charged will be refunded to the user in 7-10 working days.
WORKING DAYS
All days except Sundays, Festival Days, National Holidays or Government Declared Holidays are working days.
TAX
There is no tax / VAT on books.
RETURN / CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
In case order(s) are cancelled for whatever reasons, credit card payments shall be refunded to the issuing bank in 7-10 working days. Payments made via cheques/drafts will be returned to customers immediately without any delay.
TeksonsBooks.Com follows a strict no return policy on the site. Books are dispatched in perfect condition and are not liable to returns or refunds of any sort.
The user may cancel his/her order within 24 hours of placing it. Once the order is dispatched, TeksonsBooks.Com will not accept any cancellation. Orders can be cancelled over email (touch@teksons.com) and also over telephone numbers (+91-11) 41646395 and (+91-11) 41658420.
Our policy is to cancel orders if we have been unable to procure or supply them within 21 days. Extra time will be taken if necessary only on the permission of the user.
CONTRACT / DISCLAIMER
This is the official and only website of Teksons Bookshop, New Delhi, India. We got no other shopping website and take no responsibility for shopping on sites other than this one.
